We kicked off our 2026 competition season at North Manchester Dance Festival, and what a fantastic way to start the year!
Our competition team took to the stage with a mixture of solo and group performances, performing in a beautiful new venue and enjoying a brilliant first festival of 2026.
It was an extra-special competition for some of our new competition team members, who took to the festival stage for the very first time. We were incredibly proud of how they embraced the experience, alongside our more experienced competitors who were there to support and cheer them on.
We also came away with some fantastic special awards and trophies:
🏆 Youngest Competitor – Clara
🏆 Junior Cabaret Stage Potential – Darcey
🏆 Junior Novice Cabaret H/M – Darcey
🏆 Class B Classical H/M – Darcey
🏆 Junior Duets – Darcey & Fi
🏆 Senior Classical Stage Potential – Freya
A brilliant start to another exciting year of competitions for BSA. We’re so proud of everyone who performed, supported their teammates and represented the school so wonderfully.
Well done Team BSA! 💙💛
